AH BOY’S 21ST BIRTHDAY

The first party that started it all.

We travelled down memory lane, revisiting the iconic ‘Function Room’ family gatherings synonymous with our ‘90s Singaporean childhood. Taking cues from the various coping mechanisms to survive social interactions, we devised our very own absurd ‘party escape room’, inviting trusting family and friends to experience it with us. 

What went down: 

Upon arrival, everyone discovers they are roped into a stranger's birthday celebration and are forced to stay on. Thrown into a party scene that includes over- the-top bespoke decor, a confusing buffet spread and planted actors initiating uncomfortable conversations, our guests were challenged to come up with innovative ways to stay afloat.
